Digital Envoy’s Fraud Analyst product needed to get in front of 100 fraud managers of 50 different financial institutions in order to show its potential in the arena of online fraud security.
Getting in front of individuals within large corporations is sometimes rather tricky. In order to ensure delivery materials and, most importantly, our message, we were able to personalize each piece and ship them directly to the potential contact via FedEx.
Each package was sent from a sub-account labeled Digital Bank, an imaginary financial institution. Inside the FedEx envelope, there was another security envelope that was custom printed with the imaginary Digital Bank logo large type stating (FINAL ONLINE ACCOUNT ACTIVATION DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED FOR YOUR RECORDS). This personalization made the receiver VERY intrigued about what could possibly be inside.
Once the security envelope was opened, the brochure inside immediately stated a key statistic for identity fraud, and dismissed the thought of their personal identity at risk. Inside was a personal login code and URL for the potential customer to see how Digital Envoy’s Fraud Analyst product could be an important part of their fraud solutions. This approach may seem intense, but so is the fact that online fraudulent acts cost banks over one billion per year.
The click-throughs to the online demonstration were successful and the return on investment was reached with new relationships and leads. The brochure is also used for product information outside of this campaign. The look and feel of this effort has also been adapted to a tradeshow presence for Digital Envoy.
